I saw my first Nokia N95 the other day , what a great device. As smartphones are mini-pcs and there are loads of interesting data applications the threat from viruses or if they are lost or stolen ase growing pretty quickly. Nice new product just launched which allay some of those fears from Kaspersky.

Mobile Security 7.0 allows smartphones users to remotely delete data if their phone is lost or stolen. Kaspersky say it offers ” powerful protection for data stored on smartphones in the event that the device is lost, as well as protecting against network attacks, malware and SMS spam”.

It works on Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 v3 phones and is priced at €22. Looking forward to seeing it work.
