Once registered, you will see the Laptop Superhero logo on your login screen. The icon will also appear in your system tray (on the Taskbar) once the software is installed

I've lost my computer / It's been stolen. What do I do now?

Log in to your Vault at www.yougetitback.com/vault. From here, you can report your laptop as lost. This will cause a message to be sent from us to your laptop to logout.

Once I've reported my computer lost/stolen through my Vault at www.yougetitback.com/vault how long will it take for the laptop to be locked?

We will send a command to lock you laptop at regular intervals. If your laptop is connected to the Internet when it receives this message, it will immediately log out of the active account.

So no one can access my laptop while it's locked?

If your account is password protected with a strong password, then it is safe.

What happens if someone finds my laptop and wants to get it back to me?

If someone finds your laptop, they will have the option to report the find on the computer itself if there is an Internet connection. If not, then they can report it found using the provided phone number on the laptop. As the owner, you will get a text and SMS message from us to report the find. You can then arrange with the Finder or us to get it back!
