If you are reporting an item that has been lost, then we also collect certain personal information about you, including your name, address, telephone number and other relevant information. We use this information to facilitate the return of the lost item to its registered owner and to send you a yougetitback gift pack and any optional reward that the registered owner has indicated is to be paid to the finder of the lost item and may pre-register your details against your gift pack security tags.
We may also send some information to the finder regarding our products and services.
You can be assured that we only keep your personal information for as long as is necessary for the above purposes or as required by law.
If you have obtained Yougetitback only branded free tags from us, please be aware that unless you have indicated otherwise by ticking the "opt out" box when registering with us you are agreeing to allow us to use your information to provide you with details of services, products and promotions which we think may be of interest to you. If at any time you no longer wish to receive such emails, you can unsubscribe by clicking on the applicable link contained in the information email sent to you. If you do not want Yougetitback to process personal information supplied in respect of the free tag, you should not activate the free Tag. If you store contact information belonging to other people in your vault on the Website, please be aware that we will not contact these people for any reason.
If you have obtained free tags from Yougetitback Limited, which display third party sponsored branding on them, please be aware that unless you have indicated otherwise by ticking the "opt out" box when registering with us you are agreeing to allow Yougetitback Limited and the relevant sponsor to use your information to provide you with details of services, products and promotions which either we or the sponsor think may be of interest to you. In certain circumstances, you may have obtained a Tag as part of a promotion or as a complimentary product. In such circumstances, we need to share your personal information with the sponsor of that promotional or complimentary product offer to facilitate you in using the Service. We will only provide this information when you activate the Tag in respect of the relevant complimentary or promotional product. If you do not wish us to disclose your personal information to the sponsor of the relevant promotional or complimentary product offer, then you should not activate the Tag in respect of the complimentary or promotional product.
